Harold Dampier - USA - September 2011 - If you are trying to decide between a resort or a rental house, choose this house. It costs almost the same as a resort but you get the whole house to yourself. Privacy, comfort and great views. The great thing about this house is that you are a short walking distance to a nearby resort where if you get cabin fever, you go next-door to eat, drink, sign up for tours and dive. The owner answers all emails promptly and delivers on all promises. No hidden fees no surprises. They will even give you good advice on shopping and transport. During your stay you will be pampered by the 2 full-time staff that can answer your every question and even arrange for fishing or snorkel trips. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was awesome. Highly recommended

Frank and Bernice Parker - August 2011 - New Zealand - Just one word can be used to sum up Bularangi - fabulous. Kamlesh and Manju greeted us on arrival then helped us to settle in,then Kamlesh showed us the many features of the property that help to make our stay even more enjoyable. Kamlesh and Manju were very helpful at all times, whether we wanted some fresh fish, coconut milk, roti or samosa they were always ready to oblige. The villa has probably the best view of any place we have ever experienced in Fiji and the design is perfect for the location. The whole property is immaculately maintained, with special mention of the pool area. The kitchen is very well equipped and ideal for self catering which is one thing we really appreciate. We have spent many weeks and months in Fiji over the last 36 years, staying at many various resorts, apartments and villas where we snorkled, sailed, cruised, tried all kinds of fishing etc.- all the things you do when young and fit. Now we have found what we think is the very best place for us in Fiji- Bularangi is perfect for our needs now. I could write a lot more but by now I think you have a good idea of how much we liked Bularangi.

Robyn and Clarrie Williams and family - New Zealand - July 2011

Our time at Bularangi was unlike other holidays we have had in Fiji. We experienced the 'real' Fiji. It's people. Kamlesh and Manju became our friends and shared their Fiji with us. Our children and ourselves learnt so much about their culture. We learnt some Fijian Indian words, learnt how to cook Fijian Indian food (our 10 year old made us onion and garlic Roti for breakfast one morning after Manju had taught us), and immersed ourselves in the culture - albeit for a very short 2 weeks. The house, you can see from the photos, is stunning, the views magnificent, the pool luxurious - and equipped with everything you need or desire. They have thought of everything - the torch for night trips to the neighbouring resort (which was eventful and exciting with frogs leaping left and right as you return home after a few cocktails)!! The first aid kit, books, dvd's, music ...the list goes on. I notice details and there are many to notice - very savvy and thoughtful. On arrival, with music playing in the background, shutters and doors open in welcome, tropical flowers in water, Kamlesh with his gorgeous big smile - and that amazing view - what could be better. The resort next door welcomed us and treated us like royalty - the food was brilliant, the staff incredibly friendly - and they remembered our names. We also tried Voli Voli a few times which was relaxed and the food good also. This holiday is one out of the box. It is an 'experience' - and a secret waiting for to unfold. All you have to do is be open to it and enjoy. Thank you Kamlesh and Manju - you are amazing people - and ali and Baz for sharing your Fiji with us.

Mike and Lisa Weier - Australia - July 2011 - Well we had the most amazing holiday at Bularangi! If it is possible the villa was more amazing than we could have imagined! When we arrived we couldn't quite believe we were in true paradise. The views were spectacular and the villa so luxurious. It was like a dream! You both have created a most amazing haven which allowed us to have a fabulous holiday. It was so very hard to leave.. Hannah just said the other day "I wish we had lots of money so we could go there every holiday" It is hard to believe just 4 weeks ago we were soaking up the sun and relaxing around the beautiful pool. It is zero here now. You are so fortunate to have Kamlesh and Mandu to take care of the guests and property. They were fantastic and so helpful and friendly. We left as friends. Mandu cooked some yummy meals and even taught us roti making. We went to the resort most days for a swim and sampled their meals, day spa and daily trips. A great resort where we felt welcomed and the staff were very lovely to our family. Our youngest buddied up with the managers daughter and good to have a playmate. Our transfers to and from the villa went smoothly and enjoyed the scenic trip to get there with lots to see on the way. Our supermarket stop meant we were adequately stocked up for most of the week. Probably should have purchased some meat in Nadi as suggested. A huge thank you again for a lovely stay and all you did to ensure a fantastic booking experience. Exceptional customer focus! We really hope we can return to paradise again. The world is small as we recognized a family from the guest book we know of who had recently stayed. We have told many of our find and so hope they can one day experience Heaven on earth also. Vinaka

Andrew, Anna and Ethan Weiss - July 2011 - Australia Well, how can you describe the perfect accomodation, perfect location, pefect hospitality, perfect owners... Heaven on Earth!!! We came to Bularangi to relax, and have a break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. What we got exceeded expectation... Despite the rocky road to the Villa, and the fact that a wedding function had shut down the nearby resort for most of the week, Bularangi has to be seen to be believed. Overlooking the islands to the north, with breathtaking views, a wonderful pool, plenty of room and a real gem. The staff at both nearby resorts were incredible and meant we could breakup the week with visits / meals / activities. Kamlesh and Manju were both wonderful, great with our 2 year old boy, great advisors and very friendly. Manju is a wonderful cook, and we recommend using her for a break with the cooking!! Ali was great in organising transfers and advice before and during the trip, which really was a load off our minds as we didn't need to be concerned about what needed to be organised. Sunrise and sunset views both incredible, great range of dvd's, cd's, games to keep us entertained. We are already talking about bringing our families back to experience Bularangi together!! We strongly recommend this if you want to come to Fiji and relax, but not get caught up in a touristy location. All the locals are very friendly, from drivers to the people in town. We went on a half day island trip thanks to a local driver/ boat owner, and were made part of the Fijian family for the week!! Thanks again to ali, Kamlesh and Manju for making our stay one we will neverforget - we will see you guys again in the near future!!!

Allan Mua - Fiji - June 2011 We had an absolutely fantastic weekend. It was very good break and the villa had everything we needed for the weekend and more. The kids loved the pool and swam from morning till afternoon. Needless to say, they were asleep early and allowed the parents to enjoy the evenings. You have a wonderful place with a lovely view. We took some terrific photos with the family and kids against the bay of islands especially in the mornings with the sunrise. And we were able to navigate our way on the path to Wananvu for lunch and it was great to be able to use their facilities and beachfront. So again I just wanted to say we had a wonderful weekend and will definitely be contacting you in the near future to stay again. This time we hope to definitely stay longer.  A big Vinaka Vakalevu

Nancy Kiel & Laurence McDonnell  - Australia - May 2011 - I am reluctant to do this review for a number of reasons but the main one is that after staying at Bularangi we have become more than a bit precious about this divine property and want to keep it for ourselves. Yes, the road to Bularangi (I'm sure there is a song in there) is a bumpy one. But I defy anyone to be unmoved when they wake up the next morning (we arrived when it was dark) and experience that magic vista. All 180 degrees of it. Kamlesh and his sister Manju are kindness personified. They treat you like family. More magic. Kamlesh is always smiling and never rattled. Manju is a wonderful cook. More magic. This property is very very private but the resort is really a short walk away, 4 minutes if that and it removes any panic of being totally isolated. It does not feel 'resorty'. It feels like home. My husband and I are not keen on the whole resort experience. In fact we hate it. But if you did want the convenience of a resort and the privacy of a house than Bularangi is just perfect. We snorkelled. We swam in the ocean and the pool. We walked through the nearby field. Kamlesh was kind enough to accompany my husband on a Leyland Bros.style adventurous drive to the other side of the island. Husband loved it. Manju gave me a quick cooking lesson in Fijian cuisine. I am in the gourmet food business so it was fabulous. And ali, the owner was Brilliant. Everything was organised and easy. The house itself is stunning. Open plan with the bedrooms off to each side. My husband reckoned they built the house for me as the kitchen view is the full panorama of the ocean with the islands erupting out of its surface. Do yourself a favour and go. Or don't and that will just mean more time for us when we return.

Alison Fitzgerald and John Rains  - Christchurch, New Zealand - May 2011 - We had the best holiday we've ever had staying at Bularangi in Fiji. This private luxury villa is beautifully appointed and the location is perfect for that tropical island experience. The villa is gorgeous, the grounds beautiful, the ambience is luxurious and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. If you want to have a relaxing easy holiday then this is the place. There are a couple of resorts close by and easily got to by foot if you want to socialise, eat out etc, and Bularangi clients have full access to their facilities. We were made to feel very welcome where ever we went, that is when we could drag ourselves away from the beautiful Bularangi Villa. The pool is lovely and the reef right out front is home to many exotic sea creatures. We cooked most of our meals ourselves but we did ask for some catering on two nights and the food is delicious! Manju will also give you a cooking lesson on local cooking if you want as well. For us Bularangi provided a much needed rest and recovery from some very stressful months, but it is not just about lazing around, it really is a wonderful gateway for so many activities like diving, snorkeling, kayaking etc. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Andrew and Kirtie Stone - Christchurch, New Zealand - April 2011 - A really special place for one and all. When not sunning ourselves by the pool we spent our time snorkelling, exploring the area or at the wonderful resort next door. The villa has been wonderfully designed and Baz and ali's attention to detail to ensure

Geordie and Frieda Little - Australia - March 2011  Thanks for your follow up. My husband and I absolutely loved Bularangi Villa. I do not feel like sharing it with the world, but I won't be so greedy and will definitly review on Trip Advisor. We will definitely be back as we would love to take our family to share our wonderful exprience.

Mary Lou Ross - USA - February 2011 - Bularangi Villa - and Kamlesh and Manju - were as wonderful as ever. THANK YOU for a stunning, well run venue. I also appreciate everything you personally did to facilitate the meat order (though delivery was bungled but Fiji is as Fiji does and no one's fault!), arrange car hire, etc. You are an AWESOME service provider with a fabulous "product". You & Baz are to be commended for sure.  Bularangi = Paradise in our opinion. Vinaka times 10!

Gary Barnes Party - Australia - January 2011 We would first like to thank ali for her understanding and consideration for the situation we found ourselves in. The flooding in Queensland and a serious health issue which had prevented us from leaving for our holiday at our scheduled time. Fortunately, we were finally able to take our long planned holiday and made our way to Fiji. We had surfed the internet and travel advisory’s for some time researching this holiday spot. Our adventure began with the car rental, and I would seriously recommend at this time to not rent a car and use the local transportation. Currently, the road is unsealed and with the rain, the road became quite an ordeal. We ended up not using the car again till our day of departure. So using a cab would have been a better idea as well as cheaper. It was hard to believe on our travel to the villa that the place actually existed. We were apprehensive as we travelled along. When we finally saw the sign for the villa and there it was, we were just amazed. The villa was wonderful, and the view outstanding. Bularangi means “Welcome to Heaven” and that’s what we found. Kamlesh was there to meet us and to give us the general layout of the villa. Wananavu resort was just a short walk up the beaten path. So we settled in and went off for dinner. The resort provided Happy Hour with local entrainment, and a (small)select menu for meals. I recommend the fish and chips!  The staff were very friendly and Ben’s visitor’s tips were helpful. One could not ask for a better place to rest and relax. We did indulge our self’s by making arrangements to have abby come in and we were pampered with our body massages, body wraps, and body scrubs (under the Burr). Highly recommend the hour body massage. Total relaxation. We also took advantage of having Manjula cook a couple of (typical Fijian) meals for us. We were not eager to take the car out, so we were fortunate to have Manjula and Kamlesh pick up some groceries for us, and one being some local fresh fish. Kamlesh shows up with a very large local fish! We were just wondering what we would do with it now. Luckily, Kamlesh did clean and fillet the fish for us and later that day we had the best fish dinner off the barbecue that we have ever eaten. Absolutely amazing! We can only say that this was a wonderful holiday and somewhere we would definitely return to in the future. We would like again to thank Ali along with Kamlesh and Manjula for being part of a brilliant holiday. Pictures will always remind us of the wonderful views from the villa.

John Downie - Australia - January 2011 - "Bularangi is a great place to relax and enjoy the sun"
We found Bularangi Villa on the VRBO website and received prompt, helpful and reliable replies to our email enquiries from Bularangi (Ali Howie). This level of service continued during our stay. The Villa is situated on the coast in a less developed part of Fiji. It enjoys a great view over Bligh waters to offshore islands. It is spacious and well designed so that it's cool and there was ample room for the members of our group to be separate if desired or to come together at other times. The villa has a lovely pool, and a reef with coral and numerous fish extends from the edge of the property - snorkelling gear provided. There are no nearby beaches as such. Bularangi is next door to a resort (Wananavu) so that the resort's facilities are available to guests - including kayaks and tennis courts. You can establish a tab at the resort and go for drinks and meals (which were good) whenever you wish. The resort also offers trips to nearby villages, fishing and scuba diving. Apart from the resort, which is family orientated and low key, there is no local night life (a plus for us) and not too much to visit in the local area. Bularangi has a full time gardener/pool person and a lady cleans each weekday for 4 hours. She also offers a service whereby she cooks meals - but we generally preferred to self cater. Meat needs to be sourced in Nadi but good seafood is available locally. The gardener/pool man gave good advice about this. We were seeking a beautiful and classy home to enjoy a relaxing holiday - time to 'chill' and do some gentle exercise and recuperate after a busy year. Bularangi more than exceeded our hopes.

Marie, Peter, Sam, Jill , Holly and Lily - Australia - December 2010 - Our time at the beautiful house, Bularangi was so special. We will always remember our time there and the wonderful experiences we had. Just to let you know that the ordered meat and wine organisation worked well. The pork for roasting was the best prepared I have ever had, so the crackling was delicious. I wish I had ordered some lamb and chicken also, as the moment we walked into the butchers shop I could tell the meat would be excellent. It was beautifully packed for the long trek from Nadi to Bularangi.I had been a bit anxious about that. We were glad we had a 4-wheel drive as that allowed us to be a bit adventurous while at the house. Jill and Sam went down the Eastern Coast road ( if you could call it a road ) towards Suva. The house was well prepared and the garden and pool looked magnificent. The facilities were  superb. Kamlesh and Manjula were very helpful in many ways … buying fish (2 parrot fish and a cod) then grating and squeezing some coconut milk for me so I could bake the fish in coconut milk and lime juice in the oven. Kamlesh thought I was a bit weird not wanting the heads and backbone and then seeing me refilletting to remove every bone (wasteful?) … I went shopping with Manjula to get supplies for her curry and samosas dinner for us. Natasha and our little Lily came too so it was quite an outing.
Natasha came up to the house and played with Holly and Lily one day. Kamlesh changed a tyre for Sam, a puncture as a result of the road to Suva. I have to say there is talk already about maybe doing the same thing next year !!!

Chloe Pereira - October 2010 - This villa is not only fantastically designed and well appointed (all needs thought of, BBQ, utensils, even a lilo for the pool!) but has the most amazingly beautiful views. It is out of the way, you do need a 4x4 to get there, and this all adds to its attraction. The perfect location for a private, quiet, peaceful, relaxing stay - there couldn't have been a better place to start our honeymoon. We can't wait to go back!

Ken and Mullion Atkins and familiy - New Zealand September 2010 - We are a family with 3 kids aged between 4 months and 6 years. We wanted a holiday where we could do our own thing on our timetable as far as catering and activities go. Bularangi Villa provided this with complete and modern kitchen, large pool, sea and easy access to two resorts nearby. The layout, build quality and maintenance of the villa was superb - this is not your typical pacific island construction. When you visit the neighbouring resorts and mention you are staying at Bularangi Villa, you are enthusiastically welcomed, such is the relationship the owners have. The 2 part time staff add a level of comfort by removing any day to day chores. Booking with Ali before we left was a breeze with reliable information and support when booking airport transfers, ordering food and wine and local activities (diving, local taxis, boat trips to adjacent islands, local markets). I was easily able to satisfy my appetite for kite surfing with a range of reasonable sites and an almost gauranteed 18 - 20 knot wind daily.

Kay Crowley and Archie Shaw - New Zealand - September 2010 - This was my first trip to Fiji and I loved it! There were moments of relaxation by the lovely pool as well as lots of time spent on the water, snorkeling in front of the villa, diving, island hopping and fishing for the boys. Bularangi is a fantastic spot with a gorgeous view with everything we needed. The villa was immaculate and very comfortable. Being able to cook our own food was great as well as enjoying Manju's samosas, curries and a lesson in roti making! Whether you want a super relaxing holiday just chilling at the villa, or spending your time seeing the sites of Rakiraki and everything water based Fiji has to offer, I would highly recommend Bularangi villa for a brilliant Fijian holiday in the sun.

Richard and Lorraine Staines - Wellington, New Zealand - August 2010 - Just a quick email to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at "Bularangi".  We loved our stay and had a great time. Lots of sun, drinks and food!   Chris caught fish (edible!) off the reef everyday and fished from the kayaks from Wananavu - this was a bonus for him and he just loved it.Kamlesh and Manju were wonderful and were so helpful. Thank you so much - your Bularangi Villa is just beautiful and everything so tastefully done and SPOTLESS.  The children also wanted me to pass on their thanks - they simply had a ball but I must say that the compulsory "cocktail of the day" was their undoing on more than one occasion (if they had stopped at one that is ......)  We have told all interested parties of our fantastic holiday and have passed on your web site details to two groups already - so I hope you get enquiries/bookings from this.

Amanda and Colin McCrabb - Australia - July 2010  We had the best time at Bularangi – it was just beautiful. A very healing holiday in fact quite the best holiday we’d ever had according to all the children. Kamlesh and Manju were fabulous – kind and helpful and the villa, pool and garden were absolutely immaculate. We were glad to end our Fijian trip at Bularangi as it was by far the best place we stayed. We’ve come home to frosty, foggy mornings and lambmarking!! A stark contrast indeed. Just memories and photos to sustain us till next time.  Colin has a suggestion for you if you ever put up any more pictures on walls – a map of Fiji, he loves to see where he is/can explore.

Scott Dahlberg from USA - June 2010  Thanks again for the use of your home. The house was better than promised and Kamlesh handled everything we needed. We would highly recommend your home to anyone traveling to Fiji.

David Brick from Australia - June 2010  Hi Ali,thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay.  We all really enjoyed ourselves and for once I can say that the pictures and description on the web were a true indication of what was on offer. Kamlesh and Manju were fantastic.

Steve and Jill Winslow from USA - April/May 2010  Hi Ali - Jill and I got back to the states yesterday.  Great vacation/holiday.  Bularangi is a special place.  We treated it like it was our own and spent many hours thinking how Jill and I could have our own Villa Bularangi. We will be back to Fiji in a few years and would love to stay in your place again.  Once again, thank you for everything! Vinaka!

James and Naeemah Khan from Fiji - April 2010  The weekend was perfect. We loved the place. Will definitely be going back. Kamlesh was really helpful and supplied us with fresh vegetables.

Fiona Wilson from Australia - January 2010  From the outset, we both just fell in love with the home and it absolutely goes without saying that you have found wonderful people in Kamlesh and Manju. As everyone who stays there knows they just can’t do enough for you and just seem to be there when you need them however are around without being  intrusive – amazing. Everything was so easy and we had no problems at all. The kids loved the swimming and snorkeling, we all loved Manju’s cooking over a couple of nights, the weather was great, just a bit windy for the first couple of days but lovely after that and we all spent great family time together whilst my husband and I still relaxed!  Well done guys and thank you for making Bularangi available to everyone to share and enjoy. To enjoy the Suncoast and the real people of Fiji.

Debra Mika from Australia - January 2010  We had a wonderful stay, what a fantastic house and position. Kamlesh was discreet but there when needed, and we enjoyed two of Manju's delicious meals (and I learnt to cook roti at first hand). There were no dramas - the power went out on the Friday and Saturday night, but Kamlesh had left good instructions so we had no problem switching over and back; the shower drain got very slow to drain and Kamlesh fixed it in two seconds flat. I had everything I needed in the kitchen, including good knives! always a bugbear in rented houses.  We swam, snorkelled, lazed about watching the birds (frigatebirds soaring the the updrafts were great) and also enjoyed the facilities at both resorts. Thanks for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful house. I will certainly be recommending it to friends visiting Fiji.

Debbie Norris from Australia - December 2009  Your villa is absolutely wonderful & we enjoyed it very much. The only problem we had was that we had to drive back to Nadi the day after we arrived to change our car to a 4WD as the road to the villa was way to rough for a normal car. Kamlesh is an absolute gem, nothing was too much trouble & he was always smiling. He came shopping with us & took us to the markets for fresh veges & wouldn't let the vendors sell us anything that wasn't good, you will want to hold on to him as he is an asset to your villa.  Three of us are already talking of going back next year around September if villa is available but we will have to decide on dates, so you will be probably hearing from us after Christmas sometime.

Megan Poe from China - November 2009  I read Mary Lou's feedback and could agree completely.  Staying at Bularangi Villa was like a little trip to heaven.  Even the car accident worked out fine.  The people are all very friendly and helpful and I never felt that I was being taken advantage of.  The police went out of their way to be accommodating.

Mary Lou Ross from USA - November 2009  We had a TERRIFIC time, thanks! The villa is perfect and we will be BACK! Kamlesh is a real treasure. We really, really loved the house, the VIEW and all the amenities. It was so clean and wonderful. We felt truly, truly at "home" there. It was all WONDERFUL! Thanks again for providing the PERFECT, absolutely SPECTACULAR venue for our holiday.

Tarik and Nacira Honeymooners from France - October 2009  Bula, just the time to tell U that we had a very good time @ Bularangi. The house is marvellous, everything is here to spend a great time...and what a view!   Thanks to Kamlesh for his availability.  We really appreciated our stay @ Bularangi and we will recommend the house.

Sarah and James Emerson from UK and Australia - October 2009  We had a wonderful time – thank you so much.  The villa is absolutely superb – the quality finish is wonderful and it was so well equipped.  The design is very clever and makes you think that you are completely private.  What a view as well.  Once morning is was so still the water looked like a pond, with the islands perfectly reflected in the ocean.  Beautiful. We had great fun in the pool and playing with sticks at the edge of the water!  Kamlesh and Manju were lovely and looked after us well.  Thomas loved the pool and had a wonderful time jumping in and climbing out again!  We had a ball.  We’ll be recommending Bularangi and we’d love to come back one day.  Thanks so much for letting us stay.

Andy Lovett from Australia - September 2009  Bularangi was magnificent - even better than we imagined!  We loved Fiji and especially the people (how can you not?)   The weather was superb and Kamlesh was wonderful and cannot be recommended enough.

James and Lala Sowane from Fiji - September 2009  Bula vinaka Ali, you just beat me to the email as I was just going to send you a note to say VINAKA VAKALEVU again for allowing us to experience your beautiful home and as I wrote in the guest book, we have been blessed to have experienced many hotels and resorts in Fiji as part of our business and Bularangi is certainly at the top of our list and it reminded Lala and I how to relax and enjoy quality time with our children.   Lala and caught some time on our own on Thursday night and we both commented on how relaxed we felt and that was the mana of Bularangi – it has that warmth about it that makes you relax instantly.   Lala cooked up a storm again for breakfast our second day and we enjoyed this on the deck as we took in the 180 degrees of majestic views !!! Absolutely stunning even on a cloudy day.  It was sad to say Goodbye to Bularangi which in the short time we stayed had relaxed Lala and I so much and given our children so much joy which we are most thankful for.

Mev Phillips from Australia - July 2009  I'm telling everyone here about the villa's bells and whistles and how everything opens and shuts and of course the marvellous attention from Kamleesh and his sister Mandju I believe. Jai of Suncoast Taxis was also very, very helpful.  You'll gather we enjoyed our stay and will broadcast Bularangi to anyone who'll listen. Also thanks for the way you have kept us informed and smoothed our way and we hope Bularangi will always be well 'booked'.

Julie Thredgold from Australia - April 2009  We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Villa in Fiji, the house surpassed all our expectations, when we arrived we could not believe our luck! Kamlesh was always helpful whilst being unobtrusive, and nothing seemed too difficult, as was Manju who cooked us a beautiful meal one night. You are so lucky to have such good employees. The house was so fantastic that it spoilt us! Our second week was spent in a house on Nananiaru Island. The house was very nice and in a great location, but nowhere near the standard of your Villa, and I think we all spent the week looking longingly back at the Villa and wishing we had spent another week there and day tripped to the island! Thankyou for giving us the opportunity to stay at the villa, it certainly is a credit to you and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. I'm so glad we made the effort to see such a beautiful and unspoilt part of Fiji, I feel like we got to see the 'real Fiji'. Hopefully we will visit again in the future.

Samantha Torrance from Suva, Fiji - March 2009  "It was simply amazing – that is truly a special spot. The villa was just stunning and the pool, well let’s just say that there was at least one body in it constantly over the weekend.  We met Kamlesh a couple of times and luckily the power didn’t go out so had no use for the generator.   The dishwasher was a real novelty and so handy! I think the only negative comment would be that one of the ‘Dora the Explorer’ lilos had a hole in it – so there was much competition for the other one!  We are definitely going to add it to our list of places to go to and will spread the word around Suva too."

Nicole Thon from New Zealand - January 2009  "We loved our stay at Bularangi Villa, wow what a great place! The villa is beautiful and has everything anyone can wish for for a relaxing holiday. And that is what we did mostly, relaxed around the pool with a book, watched DVD's/Australian Open and we were in the pool a lot as it was very warm. It was also nice to have the facilities of Wananavu next door so we had a few dinners and breakfasts there. We also used their boat to go Nananu-I-Ra and we did a snorkeling trip with them as well. Kamlesh is great to have around and whenever you need him, he is there. So we really enjoyed our stay and we will defenitely recommend the villa to anyone planning a nice, relaxing holiday."

The Freyd Family from the USA - January 2009  "Then we got to the villa. I could not believe how beautiful it was -a huge open-air house with a giant kitchen in the middle of everything, a pool, and a spectacular view. The house itself shaped in a slight arc, around a stone patio with a table on it and a pool. Directly in front of all these (so everywhere on the property can see it) is the ocean. We're about 40 feet up, so there's an amazing view of clear blue water and green islands, but also have access to the water below. On the edge of the ocean, about 20 feet up, there is a thatched-roof gazebo with wooden lounge chairs. About 40 minutes ago my mom and I were out there, and at that moment life seemed just about perfect." (Excerpt from the family blog of the trip)

Cherie and Garry from Australia - October 2008  "We had a wonderful time at the villa. It is a beautiful place, with the right touch of modern facilities, space and design. The awesome breeze really helped us to sleep at night. Overall, we thought is a great location, wonderful facilities, great staff and we would like to check out any other places you have.  We absolutely loved our stay and we highly recommend it to others.  Thanks for all your help and support and well done on such a lovely property."

Andrew Todd from Australia - October 2008  "Firstly I would like to thank you for such a beautiful place to stay..it exceeded our expectations! you are very fortunate to have such a place. The house, the two trips to nananu – i – ra , and the fishing trip organised with Karoi at wananavu, and the massages at wananavu, and volivoli resort was a hit for tea, drinks, and general merriment!! these were all fantastic and made our time in fiji very memorable."

Peter Curnow from Australia - September 2008  "We all enjoyed ourselves. The house really has everything, and Kamlesh and Rita haven’t been wanting. Jeannette wrote some good things in the guest book."

Jason Mitchell from Australia - September 2008  "We had a very enjoyable time at Bularangi, the house was quite amazing. Kamlesh and Rita were extremely helpful and very nice people, we had a lot of fun trading cooking tips during the meal preparations. I would highly recommend to anyone staying there that they try some in-house cooked meals, especially when you have access to the array of fresh produce locally. We also had some great days windsurfing directly out off the point in the adjacent bay to the south, was really nice just being able to leave the gear permanently rigged outside."
